Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) involves injection of a single sperm into a single egg in order to get fertilization. The eggs are injected using specially designed microscopes, needles and micromanipulation equipment.

How Many Samples

How many samples should I store?

An average ejaculation will produce approximately 5 vials of sperm. It is typical to use 1-3 vials for artificial insemination. Much less may be required for advanced procedures such as ICSI. Storing more is always better because factors other than your semen can cause a pregnancy to fail. If your budget permits, try to enroll for at least 2 kits. A discount is available for orders of 2 or more kits. Please see our pricing below. Subsequent donations should be made after at least 3 days of abstinence. This will allow your body time to rest and produce a larger volume for a second or third kit.
